I was commissioned by Seneca Recycling Facility to paint a themed mural encouraging the idea of reusing waste. My signature Paper Planes turned out to fit the brief perfectly...
The wall consists of 11 panels and is 15 m long and 2,5 m high. I spent 7 days working on it. It was a bit of a challenge as I had to paint inside a portacabin which has room only for 4 panels at a time. It was due to the onsite Health and Safety regulations. I enjoyed the challenge of working on the mural in chunks. It was a remarkable feeling to see it finished in its entirety on the last day.
Once varnished it will be permanently installed near Neasden depot by Jubilee and Metropolitan underground lines as well as overground rail tracks - making it visible to thousands commuters going to Wembley Stadium! Very chuffed with the end result. Big thank you to Seneca for this great opportunity.
